About the speaker

Mitreski currently works at Netcetera and has experience in various open source technologies, primarily focusing on Java. He has also worked as a Oracle certifed java trainer in local educational center and custom solutions developer at GenrepSoft. Also he is deeply involved in activities sounding Java User Group Macedonia and free software in general. The talk will be about Google Guava. The Guava project contains several of Google's core libraries that we rely on in our Java-based projects: collections, caching, primitives support, concurrency libraries, common annotations, string processing, I/O, and so forth. It has some overlap with apache commons in some of the features but on the other hand it is one of the must have lib's in your projects.

Dragan Sahpaski

About the speaker

Dragan Sahpaski currently works as a junior teaching assistant at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FCSE) at the University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje (UKIM). He teaches courses in advanced databases, computer graphics and web technologies. He has experience with various Java open source technologies, including his favorite the Apache Tapestry web application framework. He has worked with tapestry for over 3 years now and has worked on many projects using it with various other Java open source technologies. He has contributed a few patches and modules for the framework which can be found on his github profile github.com/dragansah. The talk will be about clojure and using clojurescript in web applicaitons.

About the speaker

Nikolche Mihajlovski is a software engineer who always seeks improvements of the commonly established processes, practices and technologies. He has over 15 years of programming experience in various programming languages, paradigms and technologies, diverging from experimental research and pet projects to serious enterprise applications. His main fields of interest include Programming Languages and Cloud Computing. Nikolche is the author of JAnnocessor, an innovative technology for annotation-based code generation and validation, as well as RDXPL, an experimental multi-paradigm dynamic programming language. He is an active member of the local Java User Group.
